India Baptist Women’s Union (IBWU), established in 1959, brings together Baptist women across India to promote unity, spiritual growth, and service. Born out of a vision for oneness among diverse communities, IBWU continues to strengthen fellowship among women across regions, cultures, and traditions.
Through prayer, leadership initiatives, seminars, and community outreach, IBWU empowers women to deepen their faith and actively serve their churches and society. The union remains committed to nurturing spiritual life, building meaningful connections, and encouraging women to contribute with compassion and purpose.

Aims and Objective
To realize and give expression to the essential oneness in the Lord Jesus Christ of the Churches of Baptist faith and order.
To provide means for united consideration and solution of their common problems and for proclamation of their common principles while maintaining the spiritual unity and cooperation with all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ in common task committed to them.
To present churches of Baptist Faith and Order in all matters where united Action is called for.
To promote a spiritual fellowship and partnership among the members to strengthen their faith and witness.
To give expression to their point of view or moral and social issues both at national and international levels.
To nourish and deepen the spiritual life of persons, family and churches under their jurisdiction.
To promote the obligations of Christian stewardship among its member bodies.
