Prayer Points For IBWU Day Of Prayer, August, 2021
Theme: “For I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26)
Because you have made the Lord your refuge, the most high your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. (Psalm 91:9,10)
As the Nation India gripped with fear and confusion with this covid-19 crisis, let us all take courage through the word of God. Many families have been affected and lost their loved ones. May the Lord show His great mercy and grace upon this land.
The God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in our trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
I. Praise Items:
1. Praise and thank God the He has given his only begotten son Jesus for us to have eternal life.
2. Praise God for His protection and His blessings that he has given to us.
3. Praise God for our church leaders and leaders of our country.
II. Prayer Items:
A. Prayer Points for Ministries/Evangelism:
1. Pray for pastors who feeds, cares and leads God’s People.
2. Pray for Sunday school teachers who are working among the children.
3. Let’s pray for missionaries and evangelists.
4. Pray for the believer’s continue to live their lives for the glory of God.
B. Pray for the fourth coming Programs:
1. Pray for IBWU Presidents summit which is going to be held during the month of November, 2021, in Goa.
2. Pray for YWLT, 2022 (Young women’s Leadership Training) which is going to be organized by ABWU, at Thailand in 2022.
3. Pray for IBWU programs which is to be done in various regions of our nation.
C. Prayer for Baptist Women Leaders:
1. Let’s pray for India Baptist women Leaders and Asia Baptist women Union Leaders.
2. Pray for the leaders and members of Cambodia Baptist women’s Department and Cambodian Khemer Baptist women. They are the prayer partner of India Baptist women’s Union.
3. Pray for India Baptist women’s Union Executive Members:
President: Mrs. Mercy Mayuri Moses, Vice President: Mrs. Jyothi Daniel, Secretary: Mrs. Lalduhawmi Sailo, Tresurer: Ms. Tinneilhing Kipgen, Members: Mrs. Banjera A Sangma, Dr. Zoramthangi, Mrs. Sampurna Pulla, Mrs. S.Vedamani, Mrs. Swarna Joseph, Mrs. Ruth Anand, Mrs. Rebecca Chapar, Rev. Dr. Shymala Sukumar, Mrs. Lalduhawmi, Rev. Narola.
4. Pray for Baptist world Alliance Women’s Department and BWA leadership of BWA Women.
5. Pray for all women leaders in every convention/Associations/Churches and pray that more god fearing women to come forward as leaders.
6. Pray for Bangalore Baptist Women’s Union committee to be more committed to serve the Lord in the extention of his kingdom.
7. Pray for MBWF Annual Rally to be held in the month of October 2021.
8. Pray for the Pastors of Maharashtra Baptist Society who are mainly working in slums and remote areas of Mumbai and Maharashtra, as it is very risky during there days.
D. Prayer Points for Leaders:
1. Pray for the Church Leaders that they can lead and keep God’s children safely and also not to be carried away by false teachings and materialism.
2. Let’s pray that the spiritual revival will come to our church Leaders and also to all believers.
3. Pray for the leaders of our country, states and Nation.
4. Pray that more women will come forward to spread the word of God to the millions of unreached people in our Nation.
E. General Prayer Points:
1. Pray for those who have lost their loved ones due to the Covid19 Pandemic, and the people affected by the lockdown.
2. Pray for the frontline workers and Medical Fraternity.
3. Pray for Vaccination drive in India: for timely availability and administration of vaccination against covid-19 to all residents of India.
4. Pray for the Myanmar/country political situation/military coup: Many innocent young lives are taken, pray that the Lords protection and peace prevails.
5. Pray for child abuse in India and also all over the world.
6. Pray for the safety of women and girls. Pray for those who are suffering from rape, abuse, human trafficking, and oppressions. Pray that the government takes strong steps to stop these crimes.
7. Pray for the widows and destitute.
8. Pray for those affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes, cyclones flood etc.
9. Pray for the Christian who are under persecution.
10. Pray for the farmers of our Nation that they yield rich harvest and not go for suicide.
11. Pray for our National Leaders who are in authority.
12. Pray for our Government/authorities to rule in a just manner: to control corruption, malpractices and discrimination.
13. Pray for homeless and drug addicts.
14. Pray and repent for the idol worship in out nation which may be the cause for this present destruction and ask for Gods mercy on this Nation.
